The Cuprous Secured Edge Gateway delivers on this with scalable and energy efficient computing capabilities, all with an emphasis on securing data at rest and in motion.

We enable manufacturers of renewable energy products to achieve the autonomy, connectivity and management of devices in homes, factories and at other customer sites. In doing so, we will continue to reduce the complexity of managing security, reliability and energy efficiency through our hardware and software.
DRIVING
INNOVATION
Our initial focus is on the electric vehicle industry where we are currently helping a manufacturer develop electric vehicle charging equipment.

The electric vehicle charging system is built on our Australian-developed gateway technology. The gateway is fully customisable for many other uses within the energy domain.

At Cuprous we design electronics and program in Rust, the computer language for efficiency and reliability.

CHRISTOPHER HUNT
FOUNDER
Christopher has co-founded ventures that scaled to 80,000 customers, including Titan Class which specialises on the “getting data out of hard places”. Christopher is a world-class software engineer with 39 years of experience, and has worked on mission-critical projects including those with Cisco, Tesla, LinkedIn, Palm Inc, BP and VMware. Most recently, Christopher has worked with BP and DHL as a consultant to review their software architectures.
ARNOLD DEVOS
FOUNDER
Arnold is an electrical engineer with a background in power system operations and control systems for power, water and rail networks. He has 40 years experience in the industry in Australia and the United States. As a system and software architect he has delivered solutions for network modelling, analysis and real time control. As a consultant he advises on system selection, acquisition and integration. He has contributed to industry standards and is the inventor of the language for representing power system models forming part of IEC 61970.
